While volatility continues in this unprecedented time, Fishbowl is seeing more evidence that, on average, response to client email messaging and promotion activity is stabilizing. For the past 7 days ending Thursday, total promotion redemptions were relatively flat vs. the 7 days prior, and orders made offline (call-in, drive-thru) were up almost 10%.
Additionally, client email volume has grown noticeably since the start of this event, primarily via higher send frequency, which usually leads to decreases in open rates. However, open rates have actually increased by 2%, a strong indicator that customers are as interested in engaging with your brands during this time.
- To maintain and build on this email engagement momentum, consider establishing an email communication schedule. During this time of uncertainty, delivery of message types on specific days can have your best customers anticipating arrival and planning an occasion accordingly.
